What is OM Frog Yoga!
I had a difficult time trying to pick a name for my yoga site.  I didn't want to scare people away with something too abstract, but I didn't want it to be so light that it had no meaning at all.  So I thought of the first time my children (triplets!) connected with a part of yoga.

A favorite show of theirs when they were 2-years-old was Little Bear.  There is a Frog on the show that sits in Lotus Pose on his lily pad and he chants, "OM!"  I explained to them that this Frog was practicing yoga.  From that point on, the Frog was known as "OM Frog" in our home.  

When I started decorating my studio, my first gift from my mom was two golden frogs practicing yoga...   That was my sign.  My children first knew yoga through a sweet cartoon frog chanting "OM," and my mother's first gifts for my studio were golden Frogs in asana!  

And so, my yogis and yoginis, I welcome you to OM Frog Yoga!  It's not a form of practice, it's not a new-wave flow... it's simply my way of connecting with you…
